About

The Carmarthenshire Area scout Campsite, Cwm Rhaeadr is a fantastic place to come and get right back to basics. Ideally located in mid-Wales for access to all sorts of adventurous activities from hill walking to caving

Facilities

"Back to basics" is a phrase you'll see a lot of on this web site. The facilities are basic, with water from a nearby spring available from standpipes around the site. There are basic sleeping barns (some even have glass in the windows!) Chemical toilets cover the necessary business and a waste tank is on site for emptying them.
